A couple of days ago my wife and I returned from a trip to Ireland and London. I took these pictures in London.

More London Pictures

I almost got arrested for taking a picture of the ambulance. The attendant ran after me and asked why I was taking a picture of the patient getting treated, I responded that I was taking a picture of the ambulance and didn't realize that the guy sitting in the door, smoking a cigarette was a patient!

I sure hope that the rear floor drops down for loading on that Jag! That wouldn't work very well in this country if it doesn't. We grow 'em far too big in this country to have to hoist a casket that high!

here all this time I thought we had the corner on bad destines. that Hearse looks like if you leaned on it it would top over. neat 6 doors thought

If you look closely at that hearse, you'll note that it isn't a Jaguar.....it's a Daimler. The fluted grill surround and the fluted license plate bezel both incorporating the script letter "D" are the indicators that this is indeed a Daimler...not a Jag. The Daimler brand is reserved for the "high end" Jaguar offerings in the UK and the resulting vehicles are simply badge engineered although costly Jaguars. As I recall, in the UK, these are called "deck hearses" and are easily loaded as pall bearers carry the casket on their shoulders. Just thought I'd chime in here. Thanks for posting these great images.
