Found this at the ECONO Paint & Body

I heard there was a 69 Hearse at the ECONO Paint and body place so while in Daytona today I swung by and took a picture. Rear bumper is even rusted out on this one. Darn!

Ever thought about how public bumper groveling and private paranoia has kept you from acquiring one? 100% believable.

This is a 1970....

Richard, when it's done at the shop, can you bring it up north for me? I've always wanted an Eterna, so this would be a perfect hostess gift for coming to the meet next month. ;)

Hostess gifts? We get hostess gifts? Alright! I want a Suburban

be will to trade you a Seville for one. throw in the gurney for the gift.

as for the bumper.so you have found one off a Miller with the small step some were between 71 and 73. the big find was the complete back up lights. those bezels are impossible to find.

Here you go. Brian purchased this car from the Atlanta area and I remember seeing it on eBay or Craigslist not too long ago listed on the PCS site.
This ambulance is in far better condition than the pictures reveal. The rockers and floors are super sold and the rust seen in the pictures is mostly surface rust. The engine has no oil leaks except for a little bit on the valve covers.
What I found unusual were the three lights on the passenger side of the dash by the glove box. The attendant in the back can ring a buzzer to get the driver's attention then signal to him with these little lights their code. Could be go faster, slow down or "He's dead" and forget about it!. Never saw this before.

Lights

Richard the lights and buzzer are common on Superiors. We had them on the Superior 61" van I worked out of and my 54' has them too.
