Looks like he could become a body man. I bet that helps with the boredom, and bet he had fun. I bet he's telling his friends what he did. You probably made a better impression than you ever realized. Good for you!

Ed, This is what being a teenager is all about. I'll bet you made a positive impact on his life with this gesture. Congratulations!

all about doing something positive. he wore out around 3 pm so after we got it washed off I took him back out to see what we had done. hopefuly it help him some. both his parents are special needs people. they are funchal together. been married longer then I have. so what ever they have it's working for them. Dylan is in the "normal" category. being 13 is hard enough to get threw. he has had to change schools and was felling a little lost. hoping to show him some light at the end of the rainbow. besides I have been getting behind on this project.
but you know all you can do is plant seeds. it's up to the person to make them grow. some of my fondest memories are getting to go with dad and do something positive. I'm hoping that my boys feel the same way.

meet the Hartwicks of Sioux Falls SD. Terry lee is my mothers brothers son.

Nice to see you took a page out of my playbook. Use the words "I'm bored" around me, I'll find a cure for it quick!!! Zach loves to help out, and even Charlie and Brandon (ages 3 and 2) ask if they can "help" too. When we were tearing off the drywall to open up the back wall, they had a blast with a hammer pokin' holes in it. We gave them a few bucks every time they help out. They're happy as pigs in nice fresh pile of whatever makes pigs happy.
