Hi friends,
We used our hearse for the first time. Church Funeral Service for an old car buff. His 2 cars followed the hearse--79 Mercury & 29 Ford. Good experience for everyone.

Had fun taking serious and fun shots of the grandkids this summer.

Tried to send 2 pics but don't know what we're doing so they may not come through.

glad you got to send him off in a manner he would have wanted. this is one nice car. got to see a original 39 meteor on a Lasalle chassis this last tip. in fact I got to drive it. I can see why you both like yours. that is one neat car. it has the same marks in the top were the wood expanded but the drip rail is still the original one. bodies are similar in a lot of ways but the S&S is still tops. loved the shot of the grand kids enjoying the car. start the seeds when they are young.

It is always nice to see the classics put back into service, which seems to be happening more and more, which it should due to the size of the old car hobby.

Beautiful car, John! I see you even made the kids take off their shoes before getting in...

Way to go john!

I think I am as proud of that car as you and Patti. Glad to see it back in service. Thanks for sharing the pictures. Almost as good as being there.
