First ambulances, now hearses!

Tony Karsnia - Deceased - 1971-2020

September 12, 1971 - November 2, 2020
Is the traditional funeral coach giving way to cargo trucks just as the car-chassis ambulance did?

I couldn't help but snap this bizarre photo the other day after I had finished a graveside service in Minneapolis.

Somehow, I just don't think any of us can compete with a base rate of $29.95 and $.30 per pound over 50! :bonk:

He is delivering a demand letter from a credit card company to one of the residents... :halo:

"He is delivering a demand letter from a credit card company to one of the residents..."

Well, he was still driving around when I left about 10 minutes later. Just couldn't seem to obtain that signature...

no you got this one wrong. some one just wanted to take with them. had it fed Ex to there family plot. he just didn't know his S.O. want cheap on him and had him cremated and scattered his ashes at the curb.

Now days I wouldn't put it pass a family to use any means if it is cheaper. When familes begin throwing their dead relatives into the back of a pickup truck to save $300 on airfare, well I just don't know anymore.

:drama:

Ever see the TV commerical for a life insurance company where a lady is getting her mail and a neighbor approaches to console her over the death of her Mom? She says she is so sorry about her loss as the lady looks at an envelope and is surprised to see a check so quickly. The commercial cuts to how an average funeral costs over 7 grand. I always add lib wording for the lady where she says, "Hell man, I don't have to worry now that I've got the $25,000 check. I decided to give Mom a direct cremation instead of her wishes for burial so I'm in the good for $24,000 plus I made the funeral home refund the $6,000 Mom prepaid them too"! Time to celebrate and get that new Vette!
