Finally... Rockers

After a long search to get sheetmetal for the rockers, I had a metal shop fabricate the rockers using a wireform of the conture. It really turned out well! even though its only tacked into place, its really strong. No one had the CC rockers premade for obvious reasons, and no place that I checked with even got back to me about trying to make them. Its alittle backward seeing as though I had the car painted before getting all the sheetmetal done, but I thought the guy I took it to would be able to do it.

Those tabs hold on the rocker moulding like that on 1960 Eldorados and Fleetwoods.

[That is a '57 Sedan Deville next to it unless you knew that]

You can see the exhaust there,,, Thanks to Eureka having to show an all metal diagram in their brochures, I have the Exhaust route for 1960 !

I'm taking the trans out next, I plan on having fun rebuilding a Hydramatic

looks like they are doing a nice job. can't quite understand the marriage on the dog leg but then the finished product is what your looking for.

I left alittle extra metal for now because I need to fabricate the mounts for the fender skirts, all four were missing. I have taken the brackets off another '60 so I just need to figure out the placement of each with the skirts on, them mould the rocker panels to match up better.

always a reason for things. the mounts being torn off were a common problem with the cars. leaving a little extra is a lot easier then making a to short one longer.
