June 12th and finally got some time and a brief bit of good weather here in Minnesota to get the 67 Cadillac Superior out of its long winter hibernation. A good charge up of the batteries and it fired right up! Gave her an oil change and a nice wash. Took it out for a five mile spin and it ran flawlessly! It got up to temperature just fine and ran with without a sputter! The overwinter Seamfoam has done it’s trick. Now time to work on some small details as time allows and maintain the work Jim had put into this car. Planning on a 75 mile run over the Fourth of July to some friend’s which will be its first big road test here in MN. If that holds I have decided that the car will have it first big official role as frontrunner in the Lake Lillian community day parade the first weekend in August! A five block long affair down Main Street of my hometown after a day of hanging out at a small car show there beforehand. I can say it is great fun getting to know this car and being able to preserve it’s history. :thumb:

Congratulations Clyde!

I am very happy for you! I know you waited to get the right ambulance and it seems you done good! Enjoy your car!

Glad you are enjoying your ambulance, Clyde!

You waited for just the right one, got it, and then winter set in and stayed a good long time. I'm glad to hear you are finally getting to enjoy your rig. Maybe we can get our pair of '67s together and go cruising.
