What year did this Model 58 electric air horn come out? I saw that it was last made in 2001 I believe.

Any ideas?

I believe that they were made from the early 1970's on till the end date that you found. I know that Federal doesn't have any repair parts for them, so if you buy one, make sure it is working. I have a NOS one in the garage that I was thinking of putting on the 1978 Superior, but plans have changed, and it isn't going to be mounted. It is headed into my shelf collection instead.

Just picked up one on eBay. Great shape under the cover and on the horn. Full voltage really makes it blast. I am considering it for the 72 Superior...or the 2011 Mustang GT
