A couple of years ago, I bought a couple of Federal Signal 175 beacons with glass domes (they currently reside on my 1973 Horton). These beacons belonged to a local funeral home, and had flat bases on them with a large wing nut.My question is this. Are these things worth anything?

you get to looking at them you will discover they are the same as the top plate the motor and rotor sit on. the demountable plate may be worth some thing if you need one. what ever the reason people loose them. I sure you can move them here. I have no Ida what one would ask for value.

I did not notice it was the same plate. I was going to toss them in the garbage but haven't gotten around to it yet. I guess if someone needs them they can have them.

the hollow post is the hard part. tough to get that bolt drilled threw and still have anything using a hand drill.
