Yesterday I went to a car show sponsored by the Lions Club. I went with my wife and my in-laws. I was very to surprised to find this pro-car at the how. There was also a large gathering of the Cadillac-LaSalle Club, they had their own section. I snapped a couple photos, with the camera phone, so excuse the quality I did not have my car as it is still in the shop, and will be done Friday.

For Father's Day, I took Dad to the Smithsonian National Air & Space Museum's Udvar-Hazy Center. The Udvar-Hazy center is a large display space for the NASM's large aircraft, like the Enola Gay, the Concorde, and the Space Shuttle Enterprise (and a lot of smaller aircraft), which are items that don't fit in the main Air & Space Museum on the Mall in DC. It's located in Virginia near Washington Dulles International Airport. Dad and I both have connections to aviation - he was an aeronautical engineer for his career, and I work as an airport paramedic. Neither of us had been there before, so it was a treat for both of us.

He drove his electric scooter since the place is huge.

He had a great time. When I asked him what he liked best, he said "the planes." Duh? It's a museum full of planes and spacecraft.
