Everyone needs to stop buying and selling so many pro cars...

:hide: The last couple of years have been very busy for me with going back to work and all, so I am sitting here right now trying to organize a little. Feels like I have been hiding out somewhere because I am way behind, but I am back! :peek-a-boo: Going through pictures from Flint and trying to put them into some sort of order.

I have a question...
I have a picture of a 1976 MM Cadillac Combination that I thought was owned by Mr. Devies, but it is not listed under his profile anymore.

Who is the current caretaker of this vehicle?

We wouldn't have this problem if everyone would just be happy with the coaches that they have and not trade around every couple of years! :stop:

I am sure someone has an answer for me and I want to thank them right now in advance! :thumb:

I'm hoping you're being tongue-in-cheek when you say this, Chuck. If I kept every procar I ever bought, I'd probably have 15 cars. Even now, I can only drive one at a time. There are times I think that the 5 I have are overkill, especially after an expensive year of repainting my '60 Eureka and rebuilding the engine on my '39.

The chase and research is all part of the fun, Chuck. Imagine what difficulties we'd have if we didn't have the PCS Message Board, or the Internet? Sure is different from the old days of mailing letters and making phone calls. Tom

Don't forget shooting print film and waiting to have it developed! Oh, wait...I still do that. :pat:

Adam, that is the car. Thanks!

Tom, sure is a little sarcasm in my comment. I don't want the flow of professional cars to stop because I am like Adam in that one day when I have the space and money, I will have another and it needs to come from somewhere. It only effects me when I try and put together the Tri-State calendars and I want to put a name with the cars. I have a nice picture of this car from Flint and I wanted to use it in the calendar, but I wouldn't feel right using Ron's name as the owner if he doesn't still own the car.

Hmmm... I wonder how it would sound if I put it as

1976 MM Cadillac Combination
Previously Owned by Ron Devies

Need to think about that one...

Owned by Chief Ron Devies when picture taken, present owner unknown....... or Josh could just tell us who he sold the car to... :4_11_9:

No worries and I definitely don't want everyone to stop buying and selling pro cars. Just when I start to recognize cars though, they move on. Me: "Hey, that's Ron's car" Check Ron's profile... Me: "Hey, maybe that isn't his car" Me: "Maybe I am just going crazy and it never was his car"

*Scratching head thinking* and then... :boom:

I gotta get back with it here and keep better track of who is driving what.

Whoa!

I try to hang onto mine but situations occur. But GENTRY is a whole different story. We he goes through cars he best have a circular driveway.

I disposed of one of mine today, and I was happy to see it leave. I hope that the person receiving it will take good care of it and make the necessary changes that it deserves.

I'm doing my part to keep things easy for people like Mr. Snyder...once a car enters the Patrick Martin collection, it never leaves!
