You know, I've been looking for a Mercedes S-class. I saw a couple right up my alley. Those "Omni-buses" look tacky.:2gunsfiring_v1:

I checked Guinness's web page and it does not show this. The youtube posting was made on August 31st. If I read this correct the new record may be 107. I understand there was a long parade in California, in the past, that never got official recognition. I don't know how many they had in California but I know that the official record, 51, was set last year here in Michigan. Steve Frey (Just Hearsen Around) and our own Michigan Chapter president have mentioned it on here. On Saturday September 15th (in less than two weeks) an attempt to break the existing record will be made. www.hellfest.info. This event is open to all hearse owners. While we may not all agree on how procars should be maintained we should agree that saving these cars is a priority. Last years event drew alot of attention to the professional cars in attendance. The more different vehicles in attendance gives more people an opportunity to see what can be done with procars. Some like to customize them for a Halloween type atmosphere, some like to customize them into hot rods, some like them as daily drivers, and some like to keep them or restore them as original. We are planning to attend with our 1972 and if possible the 1968. I know we have already spoke to a few other members that are planning on attending.

THANX for sharing the neat videos. I would like to see more just a little slower so I can take in all the details. Many interesting coaches.
THANX Again!

I've been in contact with Guinness. Yes, the new record to beat is 107 (the web site takes a long time to update).

The Dutch were able to get so many because that have the participation of funeral homes and directors. For some reason, there have only been a few US directors that support us (thanks O'Guinn Funeral Home).

And like Rich said, we don't all have to agree on whether we should keep our coaches as 'in service' condition, or go all out with a goth theme. Like it our not, we are all linked by a similar interest.

Wouldn't that be awesome if the Dutch record only lasted two weeks?!

Let's show the world how America does it!

See you in Hell.
