One of the peace keepers from my hometown of Auburn, MA was gunned down last night during a routine traffic stop on a quiet country road near my house. I always thought this happens somewhere else, not here. Rest in peace. Here's a photo of our ambulance in the '50s

Sympathies to all, may he rest in peace,seems every time you turn around we hear the same thing,"things like this happen elsewhere" sadly welcome to elsewhere. From your friends north of the border.
 
Thoughts and Prayers to all. Somehow, we need to get this "epidemic" of violence against police officers under control. I'm not sure what it's gonna take, but I/we sure as thunder want it stopped.
 
Very sad indeed. My thoughts and prayers go out to the family, friends and residents of Auburn, such a shame. Rest In Peace!
 
FYI according to ABC news the suspect was hold up in a house and died in a shootout with police, how many lives ruined by someone for whatever reason decided to use his gun,to our police brothers/sisters remember there is no such thing as a routine traffic stop.let's be careful out there..
 
LEOs Killed

The number of officers killed in the line of duty is insane this year when compared to last year at this time.
