This will work on 68-74. Not sure if it will work on 75 and up with HEI distributor. 1970 472s do not have an air pump. Not sure if any other years did this. If you take the crank pulley from a 70, it will allow the alternator pulley to align with the water pump pulley and crank pulley, eliminating the air pump and belt. The 70 crank pulley has 2 inner pulleys that will work with a/c if you have that.
