Don't even have to leave my house, apparently!

Tony Karsnia - Deceased - 1971-2020

September 12, 1971 - November 2, 2020
Five years ago, when our new 2007 Eagle Lincoln hearse was being delivered from Ohio, my friend Paul Saether passed it on the freeway and emailed me, saying he'd seen our new hearse.

Not long after, Rick Franklin and I chatted about a 1967 Superior Cadillac ambulance that he spotted heading to Minnesota. I later crossed paths with that car.

A friend of mine received a photo of a 1969 Superior Cadillac being delivered to somebody in Minnesota and passed it along to me. Sure enough, it was a car being delivered to Mike & Dawn Mykulak.

When my transport guy was bringing the '68 M-M Cadillac ambulance to me from Idaho, he stopped in Fargo, ND for gas and was spotted by my friend Jeremy Moberg, who then provided photos of my car, which he took at the gas station.

Earlier this evening, I received a text from an old friend, Noreen (my high school girlfiend, actually.) She and her husband Troy pulled into the Olive Garden in Fargo, ND to see a black Cadillac hearse parked in the lot so she texted me to ask if I was in town. I texted back, saying it wasn't me, but I was pretty sure I knew who it was. I texted Jeremy Moberg, and sure enough, he and Cathie were eating at the Fargo Olive Garden! Turns out the two couples were only sitting a couple tables away from each other...this learned after several texts with both of them.

How crazy is that, I'm texting with two friends of mine, who have never met each other, who are sitting probably not 20 feet apart in the same restaurant, while I'm at home 250 miles away!

Apparently I don't miss much when a professional car is involved. Now, I'm just waiting to hear if Noreen or Jeremy got up the gumption to approach the other and ask, "do you know a guy named Tony??"

hubba hubba

Tony

Very cool situations indeed.

Noreen ! What a blast from the past.
That is a name that isn't too popular but it reminds me of
a girl I knew named Noreen.
She was smoking hot to say the least !

Thanks for the great memories... and now I feel like Olive Garden too !!!

Darren

P.S. Olive Garden's use to be in Canada but haven't been now for about 15 years.

no Olive Garden or Noreen in Canada when your smoking hot you got to get out of a cold climet.

but it is funny how things work out. the thing you feel you want the most in life escapes you and you latter find out what a blessing it was..

:rofl1:

Tony, you know EVERYONE! It's fun to have a small world, but it's even better to have a pro-car small world!
Kurt

Tony, that is a cool story. It goes to show you that your reputation is well known, especially when it comes to professional cars.

Now, if you hear of a silver Chevy hearse in southern MN yesterday, that would be funny, because Christie and me were in Albert Lea looking at a limo.

Tony. Yea, that was pretty bizarre. I thought maybe you were in town. It's a small world sometimes. Pretty hard to not notice a hearse at a restaurant. That was my 95 Cadillac M+M hearse which has been my daily driver while my 95 Eureka Buillac has been getting body work done on it. I did talk to Troy and Maureen. Very nice people. They actually approached us. Pretty cool. They seemed like pretty car savvy people. She did want me to say that you owe her a meal though! LOL

*sigh* I guess one of these days I'm going to have to get a phone that texts.
