Does Anybody Have......................

Ron Devies

PCS Ohio Chapter President PCS Past Vice President
Looking for pictures of a 1970 Olds Cotner-Bevington Cotington Combination. I will explain why later. Please post them here. ;)

Here's two I have (besides pics of your's). The green one was in KY and was probably from a for-sale ad. The blue one was from TX and is probably a Steve Loftin photo (for photo credit sake).

Steve, those look like Seville's. Well here is the scoop, last evening I got a telephone call from a guy who has had a Cotington combination in his gravel floor garage for over 10 years, possible blown head gasket, probably a shot master cylinder. It is buried under a mountain of junk. He doesn't really want to sell it, but is losing his storage, he is out of work, out of money and heard I take in these cars and give them good homes. How I got the reputation for that from complete strangers beats me  still trying to figure out how he got my cell number. Anyway, he wants me to take a look at and see if I am interested. I am not in the market for a car, but don't want it scrapped either. So I am supposed to go look at it next week.

why can't people call me like that ??
BUY IT !!!!! store it then sell it to someone in the PCS who will restore it.
besides Ron... you can always use another Pro-Car ! :D:D

I agree Mike, however not everyone in my family is as excited about this as we are. From what I am being told it is black crinkle over a metallic gray.

lets try this again. was not that Seville you owned a 70?

Yes for about a year I owned Kurt Cotton's 70 Seville. It is now back in Kurts garage where it belongs as it was a family heirloom. I didn't really like the Seville because there was no partition. I briefly owned a Cotington that I bought, it was little more work than I was up for. I sold it to Kent Martinson and it turned out to be the same case for him. It was unfortunate because that car had a great mint interior.
