DMV Search?

Is anyone aware of a DMV search service? I'm attempting to find the history of my '73 Lifeliner from Elmore County, ID. The Idaho DMV has an on-line service but it costs $95 to register and an additional $8.50 per search fee.

My telephone inquiries in the area have not been too successful.

Used to be, you could just walk in to the MVA around here and ask, and they'd look it up for you. Now they won't - privacy laws!

I'd say, if the Idaho DMV would do it for a fee, that would probably be the route to go. At least they'll do it.
