Hi All,
was just looking up random pictures on google images, came across this sweet '76 Superior Cadillac Sovereign REGAL 3-way in Sydney, Austrailia.
I noticed the window in the rear door looked smaller than mine, I will try to post either the picture or a link, can someone explain to me WHY it is different?? was this a stock option or was the vinyl top on the door just repaired to be like this?? notice there appears to be no window trim??
Thanks, just was curious so i figured why not ask??!!! lol!!

sorry, other photo does not appear to want to be shown, but link to it does work. oh, and the poor cell phone picture of mine was from a couple weeks ago when Jill and I went out to the drive-in and saw Avengers, just wanted to get out and ENJOY my coach!!! lol!!

it would appear that some one has repaired the rear door/changed the top. when they did so they used a filler piece to go around the glass and cover it like they did on a lot of limos.

This was a coach Ronnie Grubbs was selling. It had a top put on over the orginal top . It was a real price job from the way it was put on.

Not to change the subject but it looks like those Aussies like our muscle cars, pro-cars, etc. just like we do....I saw a lot of them that were imported because of the LH driver position.... By the way, Dana.....nice coach you have there!!

Jonathon, yup. look at the white one, thats my coach, same size rear window as yours. now look at the silver one that is now in Australia. It has the SAME size window "glass" however the padded top around the window is different and it gives the appearance of a smaller glass/opening, maybe only slightly but it is noticable. it also is straight across the bottom (by that I mean it looks to me that the when compared to the trim that seperates the paint and the vinyl that window opening is closer on each outside edge but slightly further away in the center whereas on stock it is the same width all accross) and it covers/hides the aluminum/stainless?? window trim molding. I do kinda like a smaller rear window look but can't make up my mind on what I think about this particular job as the flat straight edge at the bottom of the glass just doesn't look right, other than that though I think this is very pretty coach!!!

Don, yea, it really is pretty neat seeing all the American vehicles that have been imported there and how much they are appreciated!! of course I kind of wonder how many are imported now versus how many were imported when they were new?? Thank you very much for the kind comment on my coach!! it's always nice to hear that!!

Dana.
