we are about ready to paint the 58 and it was a warm day with nothing but cold to start in tomorrow. I really wanted to was it off and no way I was going to do it in the back yard. so we will finish up in the big garage. we got 7 cars moved to day and only clipped one I'll be mad about that till I get it fixed. but it was my fault. the 72 has street tires on it and I did not want to flounder it in the 3-4 inches left out there. went threw the door a little faster and as they say "Missed it by that much". we did get the big chunks blew out of the 58 and it washed good. working in the 11 to 1 window. but due to 100 people deciding to show up at that time. it was after 2 before we got started washing it. they don't call it Hot Springs for nothing the water temp in the main is around 80 degrees F. this time of the year it helps

If you were the first person to ever clip a door we would be shocked, but trust me those of us who have clipped doors, mirrors, fenders, feel your pain, and worse of all you have to say "now why did I go and do that"

Not to worry Ed, gives you something to do down the road. Man that snow looks great!!! Here is it record heat and humidity through the week. Sad part is it is cloudy so no sun bathing.

Merry Christmas

What is that ugly wet white stuff all over the ground? Here in sunny Ohio (today's high 67) we don't see that stuff. (Or at least I hope we don't this year)

You and I both Ron,hell we are going to the upper 65-70 degree range and calling for thunderstorms, some Spanish fella is to thank ,"El Nino" :D

yes it is about time to have to do it a number of bad places in the paint. just got in a hurry wanted to get them moved around before lunch and had received the call. one of the reasons I don't have collision on any of the cars is because if I bang them up I deserver to have to fix them.

I can move the other two cars out and put the 58 side ways in here. that will give me a space big enough to get around it and this one has the exhaust fan in it and the wood stove. temps around 30 we can keep the temperature up and run it OK. we moved all the loose stuff over there to so we have the "big enough" back.

I glad to report that Herb is right. tried as hard as I could but could not generate enough heat to pop the dent . but the nice thing with lacquer is as long as there is paint on the car you can make it shine, so now we have a shiny dent. at least it's all blue.
