Did Anybody Watch Aquarius Last Night

On last night's episode, two LAPD cops were gunned down and it showed two vintage ambulances. A Cadillac, I did not get a good look at the coachmaker and a suburban that I am pretty sure was a Stoner. Does anybody know who those two beauties belong to? I have tried like hell to find a holster like David Duchoveny is wearing. They were pretty popular back in the 70s, of course I heard a few guys shot themselves in the armpit too.

No doubt, is the barrel of that pistol pointed directly at the arm pit,we don't get those shows but correct me if I am wrong is not aquarius related to the Charles Manson saga,

Yes, it is a fictional work, with fictional characters that is very loosely tied to history. The only thing accurate to Manson is the cult of whacked out women and the fact that Manson was bisexual. That said, it is a pretty good show.

you look at those 10,000 screws holding that thin pad to that door you know it's a stoner. might be Lew's

That was what I thought too. I think Lou had a 184 on top but this look like it had a round dome. On the holster, the idea was pulling down would be more natural than lifting up like other shoulder holsters of the day. These days you really don't see neither, being replaced by the even more natural horizontal shoulder holster that really took off with the Jackass style that came out in the late seventies early eighties.

Yes, the Stoner is Lou's.

The holster is a Berns-Martin Lightnin', or more likely a replica/knock-off.
Berns-Martin has been out of business for some time, and I believe the straps on the original were canvas/cloth rather than leather. Originals are considered collector's items now. There are several places making replicas or similar style holsters - just Google it.
