The 1972 S&S Cadillac Victoria has arrived safely at its new home in Swartz Creek, MI. Thank you Dan Scully for selling this beautiful coach. It is in amazing condition. I think I am in love with it. The delivery by FedEX was handled with great care by a hearse enthusiast. I gave him a PCS application and provided him with the web address to this site. Here are a few pictures to enjoy. We are supposed to be in the 70s here starting Wednesday and 78 degrees by Friday. I will get some pictures of the two 1972 cars together soon.

Kevin, That looks great backing out of the trailer! I know you're excited to have that beauty! But where's the snow? Ya'lls forecast sounds about like ours-almost 80 by the end of the week.
 
that is one good looking car. you guys don't worry it's close to if not 80 here tomorrow and the snow won't fly till Thursday look for it in your place around Sunday

That car doesn't even know what snow is... It looks that great as a result of having always being taken care of and spending its life in the comfort of the California sun. It is an exceptional coach having been lovingly cared for and pampered by its previous owners. I know that it will continue to get the very same loving care in the hands of Kevin. Enjoy the new ride, and post some pictures of its travels around Michigan.
 
Extremely nice coach Kevin and I'm sure you are very proud as it's new owner. I know it has gone to a great home and it will be well taken care of.
CONGRATULATIONS!!!!

PS: Kevin, can you elaborate a bit on the FED Ex. delivery and how that went. I never knew they transported vehicles.

Congratulations on the acquisition of this beautiful hearse. She looks right at home there in your garage. If we had this car here, she'd be placed back into service as a backup or use by special request. Our firm once owned a new black 1971 S&S Cadillac Victoria 3-way.
 
Congratulations, Kevin. I know how anxious you have been to receive it. It looks amazing. What does Eunice and the boys think of it? I bet you are excited to take it to your first Michigan PCS event.
 
Congratulations Kevin! I didn't know it was going to you. Should look great next to your S75. Guess I need to get caught up on all the threads I haven't read yet...

If you don't have one or know, she was the February centerfold of the PCS calendar. She's a beaut, and I enjoyed seeing her the whole month! :D

Thank you everyone. To answer a few questions:

It was originally in service in Nebraska. From there it went to a funeral home in Missouri. It first saw California in either 2005 or 2006.

My understanding is that FedEX operates both their Custom Critical delivery service as well as Passport Auto Transport. Their service is not unlike any other delivery service. They charge you a lot of money and move your car. If you do the math, long distance deliveries like CA to MI are less expensive this way than going to get it or drive it home. I have used more than one delivery company and I would definitely call FedEX for my next move.

It is an endloader with no extending table.

The boys love it. Unice hasn't really said yet. I know she would like it to have been older.

I do have that calendar right next to my desk in my home office. I looked at it every day for the whole month of February... the first half of the month wishing I could have bought that car... the second half of the month excited about its pending purchase.

Thanks, for giving it a good home. It was a tough call to sell but a much easier one when I knew it was going to you.This came from Doug Scott and I only went to look but could not resist after looking at the fantastic shape it was in , needed some cosmetics and a little mechanical work but hey we all do after almost 40 years old.:thankyou2:
 
Beautiful car, Dan & Kevin. Should make a nice stable mate to the Fleetwood 75. Too bad Kevin didnt buy the gold one that went to England, if my memory is correct. Dan, why not tease Kevin with a pic of THAT one?
 
That went to Germany and was a 71 but could have made it a 72 pretty easy. It was a Crown Electric 3-way.
