Criterion has A/C-Yippee

I was playing with the Criterion and tried to charge the A/C but it would not take the freon. I changed the shradder valve (not sure how to spell that) and put a can of oil and three cans of 134.a freon in her. "I've got air". Henry had quite a bit of A/C work done on it with a new condensor up front and evaporator. I also changed the headlights and while noising around noticed it has new coils and shocks under the front end.

This car keeps getting better and better. :alc:

get r done

get her ready buddy, its a long drive to texas without a/c....still have your 77 vette? took my 76 out last night and a/c clutch locked up. had to cut a/c belt to get her home. less than 1600 4speeds built in 76. new compressor next. i converted to 134a last year. its yellow but its grown on me. also cant beleive you never seen 2 altenators on a amb. before. ask around they were there and could be optioned from dealer. hope to see ya at int, meet. gonna ride the harley later today and go look at a limo someone told me about parked behind a fh in baytown supposedly for 20 years. who knows. dont want one but.....

that system would be the same as your 73. remember the same thing usually goes bad on all of them. we had the muffler plug up on the 72 olds that cost us a ton of money till we found a man that knew what to check when it had high head pressure.

the advantage of have two of them is you can check from one to the other to see what is supposed to do what
