Looking for some good advise from all ambulance or electricians familier with
Superior wiring....
I am goin going to be mounting some Unity cowl lights on the 72 and was wondering if there is a "proper" way to go about it ..before I do it MY way..:hide:

I have 2 "empty" slots on the roof electrical panel.....should I rout it that way or just put a switch on the dash area ??

Also whats the best way to "fuse" it...to fuse block or just a "inline" ??

Thanks to all in advance......

Start by telling us what the size of the bulbs that you are using are, including the bulb number. Are these going to be flashing or are they going to be steady red? How much work do you want to do? Getting a wire up to the switch panel is the way that I would do this, however, I don't know your level of patience or experience, so how I would do it, might not be your way. I would fuse the wire with a fiber board fuse block mounted to the firewall, and take the power from the master disconnect switch or the main power wire on the starter, whichever is easier to get to. If they are to flash, then I would use a Cole Hersee motorized flasher. Do not try to tie these into the present lighting, because you will overload the system. I would also prefer to see you use 12 gauge stranded wire for this installation.

check the superior fuse block and see if they have a extra slot there. the ambulance usally has them filled up but if there is a extra hole it would be the place to pick up power and fuse the wire.
