Had this made when I had the carpet replaced . Only has button snaps that can be removed and you would never know. I know newer coaches have this on some. Helps a little to keep the back a little nicer .

I have seen a number of combos that had something similar to this. you could flip it out to cover the sill and bumper to keep them from getting all scared up going in and out with the gurney.

All the ones Ive ever seen just goes over the sill plate as Ed mentioned. I know a lot of newer hearses also have them. My 49 S&S combo has the snaps on the table, but it is for a full length mat (which I don't have) to cover the whole floor for ambulance use.

Just vinyl ,the carpert is auto carpet.
