UPCOMING SERIES FEATURING ACADIAN AMBULANCE SERVICE

This post kicks off a series that will be posted on a semi-regular basis, highlighting the rich history and cars of Acadian Ambulance Service, founded in 1971 by three enterprising gentlemen in LaFayette, LA. All pictures are the copyright property of Acadian Ambulance Service, and are used with permission of Acadian Ambulance Service.

The remainder of this series will be posted on our Facebook Group, which is for PCS dues paying members only, and is located within our PCS Facebook page.

It will also be posted in the members-only (member discussion thread) here, on the Friends of the PCS forum as well.

A big thank you to Terry Broussard for providing most of the pictures that will be posted to this series, along with historical information regarding some of Acadian's cars, as well as Terry's documented history with the company, and the history of a since restored 1972 Superior Pontiac 54" hightop ambulance that Terry purchased, and sold to Acadian. We aren't 100% sure of the car's heritage, but it may possibly have been originally purchased by Acadian, as there were many layers of paint on the car, one of them green.

I invite you to be part of the story, and post any pics and information you may have of the cars of Acadian!!! Just remember, the remainder of this series will have its own thread on the Member to Member discussion section of this forum.
