Connected at a Car Show

I was at a car show last week in Sidney, BC. Shortly after I parked parking a 2013 Mustang pulls up and parks beside me. It's an open show so there's new and old there.

I start chatting with the fellow and he tells me tha this Dad used to have a garage and they bought some ambulances at a government auction back in 1978. The ambulances are long gone however. As we continue chatting I ask him if his Dad ever took any photos of the ambulances. Turns out his Dad passed away 6 onths ago and his sister is now going through all of the Dad's photos sorting out what to keep and what has no value to the family.

Today he sends me this picture.

The ambulance in the foreground looks to be a 1966 Pontiac/Superior. Can't tell what the ambulance in the rear is. I'm guessing a 1968 Pontiac/Superior but can't be sure of the year without a few more clues (grill, quarter panel or pt window).

Interesting the connections we make at car shows given our unique vehicles.
