Congratulations to my friend and PCS member Wayne Krakowski who had his number retired and raised to the rafters in the new Woodstock, Ontario Ambulance station during Canadian Paramedic Week a few weeks ago

Congratulations Wayne!! To think of all the lives you touched and helped over the years. A well deserved honour!
 
Thanks to all for the posts,yes I had just turned 17 when I started,the most rewarding of careers.Was asked if I ever met anyone memorable why yes every call,every patient was treated like they were the most important person alive,have met so many interesting people and by treating them over and above,, made their situation a little less stressful I am so grateful I was allowed to do this for 44 years,and to anyone serving in any capacity you have my utmost respect,you are truly angels of mercy.

this past Spring the Woodstock Paramedic Services retired our friend Wayne Krakowski's number after 44 years of service.

Yes, you did previously mention it but thanks again, and this time I was able to send Mike a picture of the banner.Your not getting old just too busy juggling 2 jobs,
