Coming to a procar meet near you...

Whew... cleaning these things will wear out a wild man!!! Here's the lineup for Hudson, everything's rubbed, scrubbed, & polished to a high luster (except the Pinner... need to update my tetanus shot first) and there's still things to do on the hearse... but anyway it was a nice day to get the collection out & take a couple shots for you all!

Dwayne, I'm looking forward to having you and all of your cars in Hudson. Did you figure out how to transport them? We already have three cars in Hudson patiently waiting for the meet to start. Let me know if you need to move some during the week and if you need a place to stash them. See you soon!!!

If I don't bring a procar to the meet, may I drive the Pinner???

I am with you brother. I have them all done except for the outside of the van yet. I detailed the inside today.

Paul: yes you can sit in the Pinner & make "vroom vroom" sounds until you're content!
Steve: no the ambulance is coming with the new mags & tires. I'm going to possibly put stock whitewalls, steel wheels, and S&S hubcaps on the hearse since it will be for sale.
Sarah: real excited here too about getting there the Tuesday of the show

Dwayne, the line up looks great, and you know i dig the wheel's and tires. If i had more time and a few extra bucks mine would have the mags also for the show. but i dont care about the judging thing any way. To me its all about the people and seeing some cool cars.

you can always tell were a mans hart lays. who cares about the hearse will the ambulance be there. it is one point off for the wheels and one for caps missing. which make it your option to take the hit or not. meantime we get to look at the car in the state it is in and see later how it involves. that is what it's about. passing on the knowledge and getting to see each others cars. if it isn't so far I would have the 53 poncho and the Stoner in there condition there. along with the needs painted and the rust fixed 68. each and every car you see shows you one more aspect of the coach builders skill. now if I had only paid more attention to that 63 superior rescuer in new Jersey I would have had a better Ida of what I was getting in to a couple years later.

Paul, you really should just drive your Pinner to the meet. The rumor is that whichever Pinner owner drives their car the longest distance to the meet gets to be the Pinner Chapter president. ;)

Looking good Dwayne. I can't wait to see that Pinner in person, that thing looks a mile long. Looking forward to seeing you again as well.

I've ben tinkering with a few od and end things on the 76, and did a little cleaning up under the hood, trying to hold off on the detailing until I can get it to the shop to have the A/C fixed. He says he should be able to get to it tomorrow.

Whoa! That don't seem right. It seems the guy who lives closest to the meet should be the Pinner Chapter President :4_11_9:

You are welcome to the presidency... Just show us your birth certificate. :thumb:

Sorry guys but I think you will need five (5) Pinner owners to have a Pinner
chapter.:festive::17875::yankchain:

Tom Pinner
Jack Pinner
Dwayne Brooks
Ron Devies and his multiple personalities
Paul Steinberg

I believe that constitutes 5 "Interested" people to form a chapter. :specool:

Sarah, yes I got the transport problem figured out... I'm trailering the Pinner out with truck & trailer, and a co-worker & his dad are driving out the hearse & ambulance. They will drive the truck back home & come back out in it for the trip home Sunday.

Ok all I want your opinions. Went to the tire shop this morning & got the whitewalls mounted on rims for the hearse. Spent all day on this getting them installed, cleaned, shined and i HATE them on it. It looks like a 4 x 4 and the rear wheels look so sunk in the quarters (the mags have an offset to bring them closer to the quarter). Maybe i'm fussing over nothing... but it just looks so ugly now to me.

So... should I put the mags back on or leave the stock setup? Please reply...

Sport the Mags Dwayne, the car looks so much better with them on! Although, some people might not want to be in the same zip code with such a "modified" coach!

Respectfully Disagreeing

The stock makes the car look awesome and ready to roll right back into service

Put the mags on the right, and the stock on the left... That keeps everyone happy, including the picture takers.

I'm with Paul. Seariously though, if your still wanting to sell it, and it being a PCS meet, I would go with stock, and put the mags back on after the meet if you want. I like the look of the whitewalls and S&S caps, but thats just me.

Ed, thanks for the kind words. No need for point deductions on any of my stuff though, they will never be judged. I'm in this hobby for just what you said... to share knowledge, help eachother, make friends, & look at eachother's cars! That's the fun of it... also the drive there & back! Getting real excited to see all of you there.

Loren you're funny! Actually the hearse was at the 2009 International in Flint with the mags & I received no negative comments, had a great time too. While my idea of style on a coach may be different than some... at least they can see my cars all carry all their original dignity and beauty inside & out, nothing 20 lugnuts can't change to a different look. I appreciate your honesty & am leaning towards changing the wheels again but it needs to be appealing to the crowd... not me... since it'll be for sale. Guess I should just stop fussing over it & make it look as nice as possible for everyone.
