I think it says something truly-encouraging about the PCS' success in "mainstreaming" vintage funeral vehicle collecting when Walt McCall & Tom McPherson's book CARVED-PANEL HEARSES is featured on the attached postcard promoting the Seventh Annual Automotive Authors Book Fair sponsored by the Friends of the National Automotive History Collection of the Detroit Public Library.
This prestigious, free-of-charge event, newly-relocated for 2012, will be taking place 10 AM to 4 PM this Saturday, November 17th at the Automotive Hall of Fame in Dearborn, Michigan, which is located at 21400 Oakwood Boulevard next to the Henry Ford Museum. Hopefully, an appreciable number of PCS members in Michigan, Ohio and Ontario will able to attend and personally congratulate our longtime publications director and his esteemed co-author.
