Any chance of getting pictures of the AMBULANCE ???
Thanks:smileflag:

Some pictures

I made a quick dash to meet with Tom the executor of the estate and get some pictures (Rick...sorry I didn't have a chance to give you a call due to the tight time frame).

Here are some pictures of the ambulance. Relatively solid with a few paint blisters. Biggest issues are no medical cabinet in the patient compartment, carpeted floor (no remaining lino that I could see), dash has been cut to install a newer model electronic siren, missing 2 of the hanging cot pole/hooks (both aft ones). I didn't get a chance to check the floor pans or crawl underneath to see the frame. Headliner is intact and needs to be cleaned...not sure how it'll stand up to the cleaning however. Rear side wheel housings have been reupholstered with black vinyl as well.

Engine compartment is fairly clean. I didn't get a chance to get the engine started however the executor says it starts and runs fine. He used it to move the trailer around the yard. Yes...the ambulance does have a trailer hitch.

As Rick mentioned, he's looking to get between 4000 - 4500. Given the current condition I'd say that's a bit rich. Probably closer to 1500 - 2500 I'd guess given the lack of the rear interior parts.

Thank you for taking the time to look and post pix of this car. When I spoke to Tom a couple of weeks ago, he told me that he is expecting to have people making bids on it. If I understood him correctly, I think he expects more than $4500, but I have a feeling that will change with time. I was interested at first, but after seeing the interior pictures, I doubt it. Where would you start? It is a shame, because these Superiors have such nice styling.

More pics

Here are some pictures of the coach. As you can see, the interior will require some work. As well, this is a 3-way missing the table. There is a sun roof in the rear third of the roof. The vinyl in is very poor shape.

Also some shots of the trailer. It was once a 4 door Deville.

Tom, the executor had some great stories of the trips he went on in this coach towing the bike trailer.

Even though the cars are somewhat worn, it is clear that they got some special use and provided many memories for those that knew the owner. Nice to hear the background on the vehicles.

Tom did not know where the coach or ambulance originally saw service.
