Carburetor Spacer

What is the best/easiest way to clean the spacer prior to installing the rebuilt carburetor?

Cabrurator cleaner or brake clean use a light touch let it work do not hurry.

There not that much money drop down and get a new one. Does you car use the steel spacers? Some did and some didn't. Not up enough to tell you which ones i do know the 68 does
