Calgary Car Show

At another recent event earlier this spring, the l head of the local Pontiac/Olds/Buick/ Cadillac club asked if we could attend their annual show. Of course!
Lots of questions about all of the cars. There was quite an interest in the parent companies that produced them.

I still need to make a decision on how to add door markings on the 70.

No event this summer however seems to occur without technical issues. You might recall I posted about 6 weeks ago of the 52 breaking down on route to an EMS event. My 57 was to attend this show, after a 2 year hiatus as mechanical repairs were undertaken, but alas would not start the morning of. And just to finish the day, the 73 died on the drive back to EMS. The ownership of collector cars is not for the weak in spirit.

The best thing for any collector car is for it to be driven frequently. If they are allowed to sit dormant, they seem to deteriorate in place. For this very reason, I am contemplating reducing the number of cars that I presently own.
