Found this 1975, 54" Oldsmobile, Cotner Bevington Ambulance in our local junk yard quite by mistake. He can't sell the entire car but can part it out. Not running however motor seems complete. Not much inside and no rear bumper but thought I would put it out here. Appears to be a government model, Had only 1 Beacon on the roof and no linen cabinet above. However I was able to buy the Medical cabinet and removed in one piece should someone need to purchase one.
Vehicle located at Miechiels Auto Salvage

what color was the interior? most of the DOD were green. I could use some moldings off the car. the skinny one from the rear door to the rear door and the plates that say CB at the rear doors. would love to get into the car to see as some of the stuff is the same as on my 72's. I'll give the man a call tuesday. that cabinet looks the same as mine except I don't have the rail on the top. was there a space for a h O2 bottle under it?

C/B

The interior was indeed green and I believe that most or all of the moldings are intact. Under the medicine cabinet was an oxygen bottle holder for the large tank mounted to the floor and it was more than I could do to get it out.
The C/B badges and two interior ceiling lights somehow ended up in my toolbox and I found them when I got home. The badges are somewhat pitted but are yours with the lights for the cost of shipping.

was the oxygen bottle holder bolted to the floor? I have a 1969 MM and there are plates behind the seat to hold a bottle holder, but the bottle holder itself is missing. I am wondering if the one in this car would fit mine? Can you get pictures? I'll be second in line after Ed. thanks Paul

I've got to go over there more frequently. It's only about two miles away from me. That place can be a gold mine. I parted out two '67 Catalinas there once, sitting side by side.

Once there was a Chrysler AirFlow body and chassis there, late 90's or so.

Also, don't forget Riegel's, on Lucy Drive. Last year there was a '68 Plymouth Fury 1 two door sedan ex police car in there. Rusty, but with the four door sedan about two cars down one could be made from two. And the police car was suprisingly complete, missing the radiator, the spot lights, and the whip antenna, though the holes for those components were there.

if you don't have a need for the badges I could use them and at least the molding under the window on the back door. Jim is trading me the quarter one's for the Seville so I will have them. about the only thing I need for the interior is the door of the O2 bottle cabinet. here is a picture of mine. if they look the same I can use one . you can see the chip out of the vainer in mine. if it is constructed like mine the trough for the bottle is welded across the floor in the car. paying the price and shipping is no problem. let me know and I'll get it to you. we will definitely mark this car in case I ever need some side glass. or one of the interior door panels. with out stumbling onto a car like this you would never find them. drop me a line at jer57747@gwtc.net and let me know

02 Holder

Paul , I am quite sure it was welded in place, it's hard to see because it's under the floor...I will see what I can find out............

John.....There is no door on this one like on yours, I will ship the badges and interior lights in the next few days if you send me your address.
