Border crossing 1956 Cadillac hearse

Not as risky as one may assume. Owner is willing to drop at a border crossing. Offering to pay his transport expenses to border in advance, then presenting balance of an agreed upon price in person at border minimizes loss. There are tow trucks at bigger crossings like Laredo that only take vehicles across border. Probably now costs about $300.

Did a double take seeing Miller and checked my archives. Eerily similar to a '55 S&S I found in a Mexican FH basement about 6 years ago. Wanted to see if it wasn't in fact same coach cleaned up.

border crossing

it isn't that difficult to get a car out of mexico. especially if you know someone in a border town like I do. getting back across with the car is not difficult if you simply grease the wheels on the Mexican side. that means sliding a hunski to the federally and simply going through the checkpoint on the American side. bill of sale will suffice from mexico also. no title needed. the slowdown is on our side and they WILL search the car with a dog. no big deal unless someone has stored mary jane in it.

I emailed the seller he wants 2000.00 up front and the rest at delivery. But didnt not say what side of the boarder he will meet you on. Just some info if someone is lookin at this coach.

Its at 9500 now but only 8000 if you oick it up in mexico and 5 hours south of Laredo and over the mountins of mexico so be safe if you are going to get it

advise

do not send any money to mexico as you will probably not like the outcome. if you know someone who will go to where the car is (mexican preferred) and get it to the border and let them get paid at the border your ok. otherwise steer clear. word of advise from someone who lives here. bad place right now. stay clear of the border.
