Does anyone have pictures of a Bolero Red Commercial Chassis car? I learned from Jeremy that the Bolero Red is a 1956 Pontiac color. Doing a little research, I found that the Chevrolet red for 1967 was called Bolero Red, but I don't know if it is the same color. I know that GM had a habit of recycling color names in later years, and that the original color wasn't the same as the same color name a few years later. thanks Paul

they would also keep the same color across the lines but call it a different name. same as in the different years. i was told they picked the color off what was hot i the fashion world. it it walked down the runway in Paris France you saw it two years later on a car. the reason for this was the man picked the car the woman picked the color.

Color chip for a 1953 Pontiac?

Not to hijack Paul's thread, but Ed...do you happen to have a set of color chips for a 1953 Pontiac? I'm looking for a dark grey that was used on my '53 Pontiac/Barnette (it's a US Pontiac).

Thanks

the DuPont boys have them all. one right click and it's yours. the computer scans don't do any of the colors Justus. so all you have really is the DuPont number and the gm code. one or the other should get you a sample of the color from any of the big outlets.
