Best car deals during winter ?

I'm wide awake at 3 a.m surfing Craigslist ads and the question has always rattled around in my brain. Do more people have motivation to sell their car during winter ( storage issues, need $ for holidays etc.) and consequently is it best time for a buyer ? What's your experience ?
 
I think so. They're just a lot less fun in the winter...especially if the car needs work. Who wants to be out in the cold working on a car when it's freezing? (Feel free to disagree! :D)

The need for cash might be a factor too. I sold my only hearse on Christmas day- sort of a depressing Christmas!

I KNOW I see better prices on motorcycles and scooters during the winter. I got a GREAT price on a 150cc scooter a couple decembers ago.

I just got a great deal and bought two motorcycles this last couple of weeks. I have them on battery tenders and now cannot wait for warmer weather.
