Beautiful '97 S&S Lincoln In Idaho!

I love the '90-'97 Town Cars, but man that thing looks like a whale! Maybe it's just the photo angle.

i wont own a pro car with commercial glass

Your coach does not have commercial glass?

I would be bidding on this car for sure if I did not already have mine. I love the look of it and $3000 seems like a great price. Superior also had a model called "The Monarch" on the lincoln chassis that also had commercial glass around this time.

I love the color combo! All hearses should have light colored drapes! I am not a fan of the dark colored, heavy velvet drapes of the '90s and later.

nope, my coach has standard glass

Engines in 97 Ford products 4.6 Dual overhead cam same as Crown Vic cop car. 97 was the year they started to hold up very well. Keep oil changed 5-20 and do not overheat and they are just about bullet proof. When properly maintained 300 to 400 thousand miles works. My 2006 Town Car has 438000 on the original 4.6 motor and runs as it should. Also have 03 Crown Vic with 411000 again original 4.6 is fine.

glass leaking

Can I ask a question about the leaking glass issue (standard vs. commercial)? Can the windshields of hearses be taken out and resealed by an automotive glass company? I'm wondering if they will refuse to work on them because of the chance that they could accidentally break them and not be able to find replacements. Is that the issue or is there another reason why they continue to leak? Thanks
