I received a PCS private message from Bill Leverett from Victoria BC.
He told me he was in Toronto for a few days for EMS related meetings
and wondered if we could get together for dinner while he was in Toronto.
We set a date and time and got together.
I offered to either meet him by his hotel or pick him up and take him for a drive to check out my cars and past PCS meet photo albums.
He opted for the drive, check out the cars and photos.
I picked him up and we ended up going out for dinner first. Digger met us at the restaurant and had dinner with us. She had to go play volleyball and Bill and I went to check out the barns where most of my cars are stored.
I showed him the barn with my 2 '62s and '73. I showed him the barn I am restoring and renovating where my Corvette, Mustang and 2 Falcon's are.
Then we went to Digger house so I could show him where my '60 hearse is stored.
After that we went in Diggers house and checked out hundreds of photos from PCS meets dating back to 1993. It took hours but we got through them all.
After dinner, the tour and all the photos, I drove Bill back to his hotel.
It was really an enjoyable evening. I was thrilled it all worked out and great meeting Bill in person. What a great guy.
I know he had a visit with some of the Ohio Chapter last year and I hope others get the opportunity to have him over to there part of the world at some point.
It's like we were friends for years and had just met that day.
What a fantastic group the PCS is !
