I very seldom missed a Pomona swap meet during my 17 years in So. Cal. from 1989-2007. I even went back for one several years after I had moved to AZ. Depending on the time of year, they were generally held every 6 to 8 weeks. It took all day to see everything, between the neat cars for sale and show, and the countless rows of parts and vendors. If you had a car for show or sale, and didn't get there before 6:00 A.M., you were probably either heading home, or to the spectator's parking lot. It was gridlock getting in and out of the place. I even sold a couple of cars there over the years, and "almost" bought some, as well.
Unfortunately, the atmosphere gradually changed over the years, and true classic cars slowly got replaced by low riders and rat rods. It's nice to see that some interesting stuff still shows up. That Henney looks like it has some potential, based on the 1 photo.
