A while back, a guy in Alliance called me about wanting to sell his Oldsmobile hearse. Well actually it is a 1970 Olds Cotner Bevington Cottington Combination. The car has set in a garage since 1995. He drove it in there because it had a blown head gasket. This is a unheated gravel floor garage that has housed this car and what seems to be a huge raccoon based on the size of it's feces. There was a lot of junk in this garage so I could only get rear shots as I don't have my rabies shots and the raccoon must eat a lot of fiber. Anyway, the interior is pristine and typical 1970 green. He is facing eviction from his home at the first of the year, I told him if he hasn't sold it by then it can be towed and stored at my house. The car is complete with detachable panels and even the ambulance grills AND the key fob from the dealer. The car had seen service at a funeral home in Sugar Creek, Ohio so I am trying to get a hold of Bob Smith to get more back ground on this.

Nice car and worth saving, but I already bought my project car and that is enough.

I've heard that line more than once. The betting pool is up to $535 as to the date that the Pontiac ambulance will hit eBay. :D

Trust me Ron a well fed and established raccoon is very hard to evict Alive, and the PETA people don't like you shooting em.stupid rule up here if you trap one by law it can go no further than one quarter mile from where you trap em.Of course all this based on who knows about it:rolleyes:

will at least this one has not been camping inside the car. we can hope he kept the mice down to a few. but a 1/4 mile that's a normal hike for one of them. will they let you eat it? nice to hear that even up there they have people that just know how you should conduct your life. the person that invented extinction is forever and we are all interconnected never tried to share they picknick with a colony of fire ants.

Get yourself a bowl and mix some "Golden Malrin" crystal fly bait(available at any fleet & farm supply), a can of Coke, and a handful of miniature marshmallows. Stir well. The raccoons will be dead within 5 minutes of eating it.(.... or so I am told.)

Update

Someone is interested in this car and has made an offer to the seller. Waiting to hear from the seller if they are willing to accept. Looks like it might be taking a earlier trip to the Devies Fine Family of Cars sooner than later. At least I can clean the crud off of it and see how she cleans up. Also the seller is emailing me some pics of the car prior to parking it in the garage in 95.

I have used that minus the marshmallows, they did not make it 5 feet from the drink and dead.

Fly bait and Coke works great !

Never tried with the marshmallows. Coke has enough sugar.

Usually dead within 15 feet after drinking it.

I don't like harming any animals.

Mice Rats Raccons or any other useless things that even think of messing with my cars are taken out real quick.

I feed the birds, squirrels, chipmonks, cats and other animals almost daily.
Gotta love 'em.... even if they fly by and sh*t on your "just washed" car.

And if it's like the rat that lived behind my dishwasher, it'll go to some inaccessable place to die.

That's for sure. I had Critter Control out two weeks ago and they trapped 7 raccoons. Seems the grieving family did not appreciate raccoons attending graveside services. These 7 were relocated 100 miles to a farm or they would have to been terminated.
