Author Needs PCS Help

I was contacted by Connie Smith, who is an author of a book about the woman that worked at Flxible in the late Forties. She is looking for photographs of Flxible interiors from 1945 to 1951. Connie Smith told me that the woman designed the interiors of Flxible Buicks of the era. She is also interested in photographing examples of these cars and she is willing to travel.

In addition to being an author, Ms Smith is a former GM engineer for many years, starting in the early Seventies. She is a fascinating lady to speak with, to say the least.

If you are able to help Connie Smith, please contact her, as follows;

BILL: I'll certainly take a look in my archives to see if I have anything to see if I have any factory photos of Flxible interiors from this time period. I'm sure I have at least a couple of suitable images, as well as a scanner for converting them into high-res digital form for e-mailing to Ms. Smith. Now that GM's CEO is a woman who rose through the ranks, it would be be no less interesting to hear - or better read - of her early 1970s experiences as a GM engineer.

The only other person I can think of is Tom McPherson, as he is the author of the Flxible book, and has a huge collection of photos.

Thanks Gregg! I am certain she will appreciate anything you can send her.

No doubt, there are definitely some interesting stories there!
