Tony Karsnia - Deceased - 1971-2020
September 12, 1971 - November 2, 2020
It is with great excitement that I announce yet another major Miller-Meteor Event that will take place in Piqua, Ohio this spring! As many of you know, accomplished professional car author and historian, Thomas A. McPherson has recently completed his largest volume yet: "Miller-Meteor, The Complete History." What a better way to officially unveil and distribute this book than in the very setting that much of the book takes place?
Through the efforts of retired Miller-Meteor employee, Tom Caserta, this will be a two-day event in Piqua, celebrating the Miller-Meteor history. This will be the FOURTH Miller-Meteor Reunion in six years and it all begins with a Miller-Meteor Book Launch on Friday evening, May 21st at the library in downtown Piqua from 5-9 PM. The event continues on Saturday, May 22 from 10 AM - 4 PM. The Piqua Historical Society and the library's local history department have embraced this event and have coordinated it in conjunction with their local Arts weekend.
Miller-Meteor enthusiasts are invited to bring their professional cars in suport of this event; there will be reserved parking by the library for our cars and related displays. Miller-Meteor retirees will be in attendance both days, truly making "Miller-Meteor Reunin IV" extra special!
Tom Caserta has arranged for lodging at the Piqua Comfort Inn (same location as has been the headquarters hotel for previous Miller-Meteor Reunions.) A special rate of $ 60.00 per night will be extended to our group. Make a reservation by calling (937) 778-8100 and mention you are with the Miller-Meteor Reunion.
There is time to get your Miller-Meteor professional car shaped up, reservations made, and plans confirmed to attend this milestone event! What a better way to take delivery of "Miller-Meteor, The Complete History" than by personally meeting Mr. McPherson, having him autograph your copy, and spending two fun-filled days celebrating A.J. Miller, Meteor Motor Car, Miller-Meteor, and Cotner/Bevington history!
If you have questions or need more information, please feel welcome to contact Tom Caserta at (937) 570-0110.
See you in Piqua!
