Anyone recognize this coach?

I'm trying to figure out if anyone can ID this coach. What I'm wanting to to do is establish a roundabout number of these left in existance for insurance purposes as I'm trying to insure my MM for a set amount. So far I've been able to find about 27 and since we don't know how many were made, this might wind up being a crap shoot. Sorry for the low resolution scan, I couldn't find a larger one.

Loren, I think the relative rarity of any 1959 Cadillac professional car, should be sufficient to determine your car's value. Depending on the condition of your car, it could be worth a minimum of $20K to $50K, as long as it is all there and it runs and drives. And much more for show condition, at least in my opinion, but I am not an expert.

For what it is worth, I have my cars insured through Hagerty. They have a guide, so as long as you are within their price range, they will insure it. Some of the other insurance companies can be a bit of a pain.

Thanks for the input Bill. I started this thread for a multitude of reasons, one of which being I was hoping that someone knew the whereabouts of the pictured coach as I believe I've seen it somewhere before. Not only that, but as I've said to a few other members via PMs that I've made it somewhat of a personal mission to find as many of the 59 Futuras are left. I'm doing this mainly to help my appraiser since he's a rather busy guy and so I can say that I own a 1 of x cars left.

I do know where one 1959 Miller Meteor Futura combination is. It belongs to a friend of mine. He lives in Rockaway, NJ. This particular coach came from California and was formerly owned by PCS member Craig Whatley. In 1995, it was acquired by my friend, who did a wonderful job of restoring it as a GhostBuster.

On the other hand, if you pay an appraiser hundreds of dollars, he knows what to do. These guys can appraise a car that is one of one.

Good luck!
