Anybody near The Bay Bridge Tunnel on the mainland side? Help appreciated!

As some of you may know, I recently purchased a six-door limo in Cheriton Virginia. Unfortunately, it seems that the truckers generally don't cross The Bay Bridge Tunnel. Is there anybody close on the mainland side, who would be able to receive this limo and hold it until it can be transported? I can probably pay a local company to take the limo across. Any help, or advice would be greatly appreciated!

I can't think of any reason why they would not cross the Bay bridge tunnel,I've been across it many times in my truck driving career in a car carrier, and never had a problem!

I really don't know, other than the cost of tolls and the fact that it is a little bit out of the way. I guess that it will get picked up sooner, or later, but I would like it to be sooner.

Hey Bill.

Sorry I haven't been on in a bit. I am sorry your having trouble getting you limo. I'm not sure why hour having trouble. I have had 2 hearses shipped and they have both had to come over the CBBT and it wasn't an issue. Your limo is a mere few miles from the CBBT.

Thanks Paul. Actually, there has been a change of plans that I am going to post about later. The limo still needs to be picked up though.

You know you guys could take Amtrak to Newport News and drive it home...

Good idea Steve, thank you. In actuality, I have traded the limo for a procar of greater interest. However, I won't say anymore until the other person, the new owner of the limo is ready. And that may take a while. In the end, I am sure that we will both make our announcements. Meanwhile, I hope that a transporter picks the limo up very soon. The suspense is brutal.
