I been in and out of the 68 MM combo a few times noticed this set of trim I don't recall seeing on any other car. anyone got any Ida what they were put in for? got the be MM as they look in the same condition as the rest of the car. the trap opens to the storage compartment but that's all the father it opens. its about 14 as long as the rollers and the same wide. the mount has a 1/4 20 thread down threw it.

The mounting plate with the single threaded hole is for the forward jump seat. It is capable of turning 90 degrees and facing outward. This plate holds it down after it's turned. There is a screw that you remove that allows the seat to be slid off the hinged cover, than rested on the floor facing the side loading door. The screw you removed is now passed through a tab on the rear of the seat and screwed to the plate on the floor.

You would be surprised to learn how many folks don't know their M-M can do this.

Hopes this helps.

I have the same parts in my 1970. I always tought that the smaller one with the single hole was a IV pole holder, cause the jump seats folds only in one way.

the floor flange, is for the cot hook,, that the screw from the cot hook, attaches, to the floor, with a cot in the car, you would not have the casket stop in place

forgot about the swinging seat in the MM. the vent is what I thought the floor piece was. I'll play with it a little bit and see if it's air in or out. out makes more since with the smooth casting. thanks

OK got that figured out. the mount is for the wind nut which is a knurled know and the pins slid into the holes in the lip. the floor vent blows hot air towards the pt on the gurney. thanks all . MM had a lot of user friendly stuff in there design.

on another note the boys are back in town.

dang forgot to up load the pictures again
