haha isn't it illegal to transport wildlife over state lines without a permit :yum:

The car is for sure a beauty... can't wait to see it when it is done.

Excellent save! BTW i've seen pictures of the spiders you mention... eesshhh.
Man that '58 Eureka styling is the most sinister yet elegant looking coach ever built. The one Martyn Donaldson has can make all of us drool, you couldn't have found a better candidate to restore.

What a gorgeous car!!! I can't wait to see it when it's all done. Good to see you on the board. Hope to see you next July in Ohio!

Congratulations Nick!! It's good to know this one is being saved by a fellow Eureka nut! Looks to be very complete - I'm jealous of your drapes.. Let's see some interior pics when you have time please. Looking forward to following your progress on this one.

The driver who picked it up did say he never saw those kinds of spiders before, and didnt want to sit inside it again. I will try and take better pictures of the interior, the ones that were sent to me before I bought it were not that good. no animals had made there home inside, like I would have expected. I unloaded it, and have put it into a storage place. It had been outside for 40 years. The previous owner bought it directly after it was taken out of service.
I havent been able to open anything but the drivers door so far, I will let wd40 do the hard work. This Eureka is a manual three way with curtains all the way around instead of the sunburst on the interior landau panel. I has a two tone pattern. The only curtain that was shredded by the sun was the rear one, the side door ones are in good shape for being outside all those years. I dont have any plans to tackle this one now, I actually thought it was going to be a parts car, but it really is in great shape. I will take detailed photos and post them when I do.
