I'm not sure if this has ever been mentioned here, but here's a great site that lists every Cadillac ambulance that's been in a movie (or every movie that has a Cadillac ambulance in it). You can even click on the picture to read others' comments or leave your own comment about the ambulance there! Any member's cars on this list?

What a neat site Jim, thanks. I guess they missed the 73 Cadillac ambulances in the movie "AMBULANCE" with Eric Roberts. Not on the list.

well, we know Steve Lichtman had ambulances in "We Are Marshall" along with Danny Ryder and "Life on Mars" featured Bill Marcy's car if I remember correctly

Steve's 1970 Milller Meteor Volunteer was also used on the "Life on Mars" TV series along with Bills.

Yeah, I worked on both. I don't remember if I submitted my ambulances being in "WAM" to IMCDB or not - if they're there, it's not because they found it, it's because I sent it in. They do miss some. My ambulance is not listed for "LoM" because it looks so much like Bill's, you can't tell it's a different car.

I also worked on "The Lovely Bones" which comes out next Friday. Used both the '64 and the '70 in a scene outside a hospital. Watch for it in a theater near YOU!

Cars on the silver screen

Steve,

How does Hollywood find you? I'd love to have one of my cars in the movies!

"AMBULANCE"....Ambulance

Richard: Hewy & Ruth Wick own the "AMBULANCE"...AMBULANCE you mentioned and it's "alive and well" complete with lighted floors etc. at their place East of Temecula along with about 80 other pro-cars and fire trucks! MM

So I've heard and I thought someone sent me pictures of it but unable to locate.

another film............

A George C. Scott film , "The Hospital", had a brief scene with a 69 or 70 low headroom M/M, I think...........

I got connections....

Actually, it's a job. Like anything, I've worked for them before and they hire me again. That said, I get requests from time to time I can't work and I do try to find them another vehicle, so....

I've never been to Hollywood (except during the PCS meet in LA a couple years ago), all the work I get is on the East Coast.
