Man look at the craftsmanship of those wheel fenders. :D

This thing was built for rugged terrain operations for sure.

On a side note and a serious question. Does this vehicle fall under the definition of a professional car in terms that Jeeps are in fact passenger based vehicles and this one is modified to commercial use.

I understand new Ambulances like the Braun Super Chiefs are built on truck chassis, they are commercial vehicles and although they are ambulances they are not what is considered traditional professional cars as in extended from the factory passenger car chassis where as this Jeep is in a grey area for me.

The Jeep looks to be in fair condition. Are these surplus to be sold units? :)

This company is a MASSIVE operation. Huge modern building that holds dozens and dozens of box ambulances. I stopped on the chance that they had some pictures of older ambulances. They have a fleet of out of service box ambulances in the parking lot. This was the oldest vehicle on the lot and I assume that the company would sell it.

that would be a older military ambulance. it's built on a jeep truck not a wagoner. as such it would probably not fall into the light truck category. they did have ever have a number of high top conversion on wagoner bodys and Horten made a few cj6 ambulances also. most of all the military equipment would not be considered pro cars. but rather things of interest.

Thanks Mike! I will try to get with them soon to see if it can be had. The uniqueness is its only qualifier for the consideration on adding it to my fleet. ;)

My 35 Chevy pumper

My 35 Chevy pumper was originally purchased by Millville...I gather EMS is a separate agency?
