Ambulance sought for Chatham, NJ July 4th parade

We had a phone call today from Joan Spitz of the Chatham [New Jersey] Emergency Squad. The squad is celebrating its 8oth anniversary and they’d like to have an antique ambulance in their Fourth of July parade this year. When is it?

OK, just kidding. :D But our volunteer youth EMS Explorer Post works a large standby for the 4th of July. And every year, when we start talking about it, invariably someone will ask what day it is. Of course, I'll usually answer either "The day after the 3rd", or "It's in August."
