AMBULANC

I was performing at a Canada Day event that had a car show at it as well.

Here is an ambulance that was still parked when I was leaving.

The license plate read AMBULANC

The red had a metallic in the paint and so did the light housings on top.

The car was customized by a chopper shop as shown on the picture..and then sold 2 or 3 years ago to this guy who repainted the top white, put a mattress on the floor and add some lights saying it was an ambulance.. I believe he asked 17k  for his conversion of the top last year, cant remember.

Now I see that he changed the pink-red metal flake bottom by another kind of red and stripped with letterings ? hows worth? another 5k? :D

now then don't be knocking my favorite year of C/B I just love that nose. always wanted one mounted on a 75 body . liked those taillights best of all. but if it was done correctly the conversion would be successful. don't for get the 59 Cugwater that Joe has. it was converted from a used Hearse to a ambulance and used in Denver for years. then again were uncommon there are a few landow ambulances out there. the problem is it cost as much to do the inside side as it does the out. so most people try to skimp there.
